Join STRA the old-fashioned way

We want community involvement to be accessible for everyone. That's why we've created this quick and easy three-step guide to joining STRA the old-fashioned way.

However, if you are able, please join STRA online as this relieves administrative stress for our volunteers, which means we can all devote more time to our projects and campaigns – and help realise Sudbury's full potential.

If not, no worries – we'll be delighted to welcome you to STRA whichever way you decide to join us!

Step one

Fill out our membership form. If you are a Business, please use the alternative Business form.

You can either print the PDF version and fill out your details by hand or use the MS Word version to fill out the form digitally.

Step two

Give us your filled-out membership form.

Bring your membership form along to one of our meetings or social events and hand it to Jean, our membership secretary.

Membership forms filled out digitally should be emailed to Jean at

Step three

Set up a standing order to pay your membership fee annually.

You can set one up by filling out our standing order form and giving it to your bank.

We've got a few admin costs (like ths website!) to cover, so household membership costs 50p per month (£6 per year), while business membership costs 84p per month (£10 per year) – but we hope you'll agree this is a small price to pay to build a real sense of community and make Sudbury an area we can all be proud of.
