Sudbury Dry Cleaners and St Laurence's Larder Helping Those In Need
Sudbury Dry Cleaners owner Mudassar Hussain and his nephew, Zoheb Iqbal, have agreed to supply clothes left uncollected for more than three months to St Laurence’s Larder, a charity managed by Sudbury resident Stephen Chamberlain.
St Laurence’s Larder, which has an emergency clothes bank, provides “a warm welcome and fresh food for those who struggle to make ends meet”. If you would like to donate food, clothing or even money, please contact Stephen on 07958 303 737 or email him at email@example.com.
It’s great to see STRA businesses and residents working together to help those in need!
Do you live in Sudbury? Are you passionate about improving the area? Guess what, so are we!
We've got regular meetings, plenty of social events and a burning desire to maintain everything that's great about Sudbury – and see what we can do to improve the not-so-great parts too.
Join STRA today and do as much or as little as you like.
Are you good at anything? Do you know about stuff?
Seriously, anything at all!
Whatever skills or experience you have, we could use your help. We've got lots of ongoing campaigns, projects and ideas and we would simply love it if you got involved!
To find out more about getting involved, email firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject heading "Get involved!", and briefly introduce yourself.
Our newsletter will recommence, in a digital format, following the launch of our new website. We are working hard behind the scenes to make that happen sometime after our 2019 AGM.
