Lights in Sudbury Town
Sudbury Town has gained a new feature in the form of fairy lights illuminating the roundabout at the junction of Harrow Road and Watford Road.
Sudbury Town Residents’ Association have helped raise funds for fairy lights that will sparkle on the trees all year round. The fund raising was carried out by the business arm of the executive committee namely Francis Henry of Daniels Estate Agents, Christine Harvey of Through the Looking Glass and Maud Commins of the Swan Public House. The project was a partnership between Sudbury Town Residents’ Association and Brent Council.
Jean Peacock a member of the Executive Committee of Sudbury Town Residents’ Association said “we have also planted daffodils on the roundabout ready for Spring”.
Councillor Mary Daly said “I’m always pleased to help the local residents in my Ward when they show initiative to make a difference to the local community and improve Sudbury High Street just in time for Christmas”.
